#OrdinaryHeroes is proud partner of the Dream World Cup, initiative, the global futsal championship for people with mental disabilities, at its second edition. The tournament will take place in Rome, from 13 to 18 May 2018, under the patronage of Coni and FIGC, in collaboration with LND – Divisione Calcio a 5. 12 National teams will participate to the championship: Argentina, Chile, Denmark, France, Japan, UK, Italy, Perù, Senegal, Spain, Ukraine and Hungary for a total of 180 psychiatric patients.

Dr. Santo Rullo, psychiatrist and founder of this project, has been among the first supporters to believe in this initiative. 30 years ago already, he started to use sport as a mean to rehabilitate people with mental disorders. For his dedication and energy, Santo is definitely part of the #OrdinaryHeroes community!

During the tryouts for the Italian National team occurred in Rome on 3 March, #OrdinaryHeroes interviewed players, doctors and coaches collecting their stories. We asked them to tell us who is the Ordinary Hero of their life and why.

We will continue to share the stories of the 12 National teams’ players on our social accounts Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
